As a credentialed teacher who also completed all the courses for a masters in education, I did not think I needed to attend Tyler Hogan’s presentation on “Demystifying Learning Styles.”  Been there, done that, again and again.  However, I felt in my heart that I needed to go and I am immensely glad that I did.  Tyler Hogan cleared up all the conflicting and burdensome ideas and research on memory, learning, motivation, learning styles, and teaching.  He was clear and understandable, with examples that made perfect sense, and his talk was filled with a level of truth and reality that my education courses lacked.  In fact, his three session course freed me from the unreasonable expectations put on classroom teachers today so that I could transition into homeschooling with both peace and clarity.  It was simply the best course I have ever taken in my life.  Tyler Hogan has a real gift for synthesizing and presenting educational material in a way that is approachable to everyone.  I will be buying Tyler Hogan’s book the second I get home and I hope this book blesses you as much as it did me.
